GHA holds stakeholder meeting residents of Doryumu
The Ghana Highway Authority has held a stakeholder engagement with community Members at Doryumu in the Shai-Osudoku District on consultative processes ahead of the construction of a 63.7kilometre road which would meander its way through the town.

The road infrastructure project is in fulfillment of Government vision to upgrade the existing 2-lane Eastern Corridor Road from Ashaiman roundabout to Akosombo junction which represents the National trunk road No-2 in the trunk road network in Ghana.
The District Chief Executive (DCE) Mr. Daniel Teye Akuffo in his address said the project would serve to promote the socio economic interest of the people in the area and called for maximum support from the people.
He further stated that the Assembly would do its part of the bargain to ensure that the Government achieved its public transport objective for the betterment of the people.
Engineer Luke Sengnefaare Dabour of the Ghana Highway Authority in his presentation outlined the project status and added that the project involves the improvement and partial widening of the existing 2-lane road to a 4-lane and 6-lane carriageway at different locations.
He urged the community Members to cooperate with the implementation process and therefore appealed with all community people not to remove the pegs to enable the Government achieve its goal.
