The session, presided over by the esteemed Presiding Member, Owen Korletey, saw a robust turnout of key figures including the District Chief Executive (DCE), Ignatius Godfred Dordoe, District Coordinating Director Dr. Mrs. Elizabeth Delatsa, Heads of Departments, Assembly Members, and vital stakeholders. This gathering served as a critical forum to deliberate on pressing development issues, meticulously review ongoing projects, and collectively strategize for the district's future.

Agriculture: Cultivating Growth and Support
In his address, the DCE highlighted critical focus areas, prominently featuring agriculture. The Agriculture Department underscored an urgent requirement for additional extension officers to bolster support for local farmers. In response, the DCE pledged to escalate this crucial request to the Regional Minister. Furthermore, updates were provided on the "Feed Ghana Programme" and the innovative “Noko Ntekentke” poultry initiative, which aims to empower youth by providing them with hybrid broiler birds, feed, and vaccines, thereby fostering engagement in poultry farming.

Education: Nurturing Excellence and Infrastructure
The crucial sector of education took center stage, with discussions addressing a noticeable decline in Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) performance. To inspire academic achievement, a GH¢10,000 incentive has been pledged by the government for the district's top-performing candidates. Concerns regarding dilapidated school structures and inadequate teacher accommodation were also raised, leading to the formation of a committee tasked with addressing both health and education infrastructure challenges. Notable progress was reported on educational projects, including the fully completed renovation of the Osuwem CHPS Compound and the 80% completion of a 3-unit classroom block at Dodowa Methodist B.

Health and Sanitation: Prioritizing Well-being and Cleanliness
The state of toilet facilities in some communities prompted significant discussion, with the District Health Directorate emphasizing the importance of household toilet construction to reduce reliance on public facilities. The DCE assured members that AESL has been engaged to support this vital initiative. In a push for environmental cleanliness, the DCE announced the introduction of an award scheme for the cleanest community, designed to foster healthy competition and encourage grassroots participation.

Security and Financial Prudence
Regarding security matters, the DCE advised the formal submission of all concerns to the District Security Council (DISEC) for effective intervention. On financial discipline, the Finance Department cautioned against the use of fake receipts for revenue collection, warning of strict sanctions for offenders. The revised programme-based composite budget for 2025 was presented by the District Budget Analyst, Mr. Joshua Kunde, and received unanimous approval from the Assembly.

Data-Driven Planning and Project Implementation
The Assembly reiterated its commitment to evidence-based development planning, confirming the upload of district data onto the District Development Data Platform (DDDP) to inform decision-making. Interventions under the Ghana Productive Safety Net Project II (GPSNP II) continue to provide crucial livelihood support to vulnerable households, with plans for further sub-projects underway.

Recommendations and the Way forward
Key recommendations included the recruitment of a permanent yard mechanic and the provision of motorbikes to enhance mobility and grassroots engagement, a point particularly emphasized by Hon. Jonathan Kwabena. The DCE and Presiding Member concluded by reaffirming their commitment to transparency, accountability, and effective service delivery, with stakeholders pledging their cooperation for the district's sustainable development.
