Assembly staff undergo training on report writing

The Shai-Osudoku District Assembly in collaboration with Excel Links Consult has organized training for some selected staff on Reports and Minutes Writing at the Presbyterian Church at Dodowa.

The purpose of the training is to educate the secretaries of the various Area councils and some selected heads of departments on reports and minutes writing to boost their job delivery efficiency.

Mr. Joseph Dasana, Former Chief Director for Local Government Service and the resource person in his delivery underscored the need of effective minutes and report writing saying that, “reports are very important because the District Chief Executive depends on them to know what is going on around the district and it is crucial in the routine undertakings and operations of the Assembly “he added.

He then explained that reporting accurately on the activities of the Assembly served as a means of verifying undertaking at the implementation level at the various Area councils.
