Assembly gives financial support to persons with disabilities

The Jirapa Municipal Assembly has selected forty-four (44) Persons with Disabilities and awarded approximately GH¢1,000 to each totaling about GH¢50,000.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Madam Christine Bombanye Amadu disclosed that, next benefits will be given to Person with Disabilities who have chosen a career or trade which will be income generating.

She stated that the items requested by the beneficiary will be procured and presented to them instead of cash cheques.

The beneficiaries thanked the President Nana Akufo Addo and the MCE for remembering them even in this trying times of COVID-19 and all its financial crises.
