Dep. Local Gov't Minister visits Sekyere Central

A Deputy Minister for Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development, Augustine Collins Ntim,has paid a working visit to the Sekyere Central District Assembly in the Ashanti Region.

The visit was to enable him acquaint himself with the activities and challenges of the Assembly.

The minister also inspected the newly built administration block, the User facility and Warehouse at Kwagyei after which a meeting was held with Chiefs, management of the Assembly, Assembly members and the entire staff of the Assembly.

After a presentation from the various departments, Mr. Ntim commended them for the good work and charged them to do more.

On his part, the District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr. Benjamin Kingsley Koduah, thanked the minister for the visit and promised to exercise his mandate to ensure the Assembly becomes the focal point of progress.

He also commended the Minister for his support in completing the Assembly block and hoped that he would continue to offer his assistance to ensure that development reaches all corners of the district.

He noted that the Assembly would not relent on its effort in ensuring an inclusive participation in national development.
