Sekyere Central B.A.C Trains Beneficiaries of YouStart program

The Sekyere Central Business Advisory Center has organized intensive entrepreneurial course for some selected unemployed youth under the‘YouStart’.

The YouStart initiative which is first in the country and funded by the World Bank sought to provide technical skills training and business development to support individuals and businesses to enable them to become employable and also scale up their businesses.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Sekyere Central, Mr. Benjamin Kingsley Koduah commended the central government for such a laudable initiative, saying it will empower the youth, build their capacity and put Ghana's economy into the global market.

He disclosed that the 3-stage training starts with 100 individuals at the basic level and the number will be scaled to 30% at the intermediary and finally reduced by 50%.

Mr. Koduah therefore charged the beneficiaries to avail themselves for the training so that they can also train others and become role models in their societies.
