Other communities including Anidzi and Kwaekese have also received a fair share of the support from the assembly to help complete an ongoing Clinic and health centre respectively for the two communities.

This was disclosed by District Chief Executive (DCE) of the area, Mr Samuel kena, at the Assembly’s first ordinary meeting held at Donkorkrom, the District capital.

Addressing the Assembly Members at the meeting, the DCE said it was possible for government to provide infrastructure for every community across the country, thus encouraged communities to initiate projects and programmes that are of priority to them.

“I wish to use this platform to exhort all Hon. Members to mobilise your people to initiate projects and programmes that are of importance to them so that the Assembly can always support such hardworking communities to complete these projects” he added.

He however, urged communities that intend to undertake any project to first inform the Assembly so that the technical officer could make their expertise and advice available in order to ensure that the projects are executed to the right specifications.
