"On behalf of the District Chief Imam, Ghana Muslim Mission and all Muslims in the Kwahu Afram Plains North constituency, we wish to express our profound gratitude to Hon. Betty Krosbi Mensah, MP-Afram Plains North for the kind gesture extended once again to us during this year's Eid-ul Fitr celebration".

This was part of a statement released on behalf of the Muslim community in the Kwahu Afram Plains North District by the Zongo Caucus Coordinator, Mohammed Kabaka during the occasion of this year's Eid-ul Fitr celebration held recently.

Mohammed Kabaka remarked that the Member of Parliament after taking office in 2017 has never ceased supporting the Muslim community with her benevolent activities.

"Hon. Betty has changed the style of donation to Muslims during festive seasons like this.

She has always been giving enough food items to be distributed to all Muslim communities in the Constituency and not limited to only Donkorkrom".

It is gathered that the female Member of Parliament for the area, Betty Krosbi Mensah last year donated an 8,500W capacity Honda gasoline generator which is powerful enough to power the Central mosque which has been an age-long headache of the Islamic family. This year, the Muslim community has again received 30bags of 50kg rice and 20boxes of one liter frytol cooking oil which has been successfully distributed to all Muslims in the entire constituency.

"We are indeed blessed to have such a kind, generous and compassionate leader steering our affairs at this time. We pray and hope that her hard work will be rewarded by our people in the form of giving her and His Excellency John Dramani Mahama victory in the 2020 general election" Mohammed Kabaka stated.
