Work on 3 CHPS compounds progressing steadily
The Municipal Chief Executive of Weija Gbawe, Mr Patrick Kwasi Brako Kumor has disclosed that work on a three separate Community Health Planning and Services (CHPs) compounds in the municipality is progressing steadily.

The projects, which are located at Tettegu, Agape-Gonsee, and Weija communities, are at various levels of completion and are expected to complete soon to ensure their intended purpose.
Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, the MCE further noted that the assembly has completed work on a six bed maternity block at Oblogo CHPS Compound, also in the municipality.
He also that work will soon complete on the construction of an infectious disease and diagnostic centre at Akawe, adding that a 44-unit residence is being put up for inmates at the infectious disease and diagnostic centre.
He was optimistic that these projects would bring quality health care to the doorsteps of the people and help government’s fight against infectious diseases in the area.
