CORONAVIRUS: Weija-Gbawe MCE, others get Vaccinated

Mr. Patrick Kwesi Brako Kumor, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly, has received a shot of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The MCE, in the company of the Presiding Member (PM), Emmanuel Oduro Ampaw and the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mrs. Mercy Quansah Ogoe, and the Director of the Municipal Health Directorate, Dr. Abena Okoh And other departmental heads, took the jab on Tuesday, 2nd March 2021 in front of the administration block of the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly.

The other members of his team took the vaccine in turns.


Speaking to the media after, Mr Patrick Kumor (MCE) encouraged all Ghanaians to avail themselves to the vaccine.

He said, ' we need to return to normal lives, so l encourage all who are eligible, to get vaccinated.'

The vaccination is taking place at various health posts in the municipality.

These centres include; Weija-Gbawe Municipal Hospital, Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly, Oblogo Health Centre and, Mallam Demonstration Clinic.
