Municipal Hospital to get ultra modern sanitary facility

The Weija-Gbawe Municipal Hospital will soon have an ultra modern sanitary facility as a sixteen (16) seater toilet modern toilet facility with two (2) shower rooms is expected to be completed in ninety (90) days.

A sod cutting ceremony was performed on Tuesday, 20th August 2019 to commence work on the project.

The Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr. Ayensu, welcomed all to the site. He said the hospital authorities were happy to have the sanitary facility at this time.


Cutting the sod for the commencement of the project, the Municipal Chief Executive of the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly, Mr Patrick Kwesi Brako Kumor, said he hoped the facility would be of immense benefit to the hospital.

He called for a proper maintenance culture of all public facilities.


A representative of the contractors pledged to complete the project on schedule.

He said the facility would be the first of its kind in the municipality as it would be fitted with sensors and cameras.
