NJN Assembly collaborates with Sunrise FM to improve Local governance

The New Juaben North Municipal Assembly in collaboration with GBC Sunrise has come up with a radio programme which seeks to help bring Local Governance to the doorstep of the citizenry in the Municipality.

The programme, which is dubbed: "A time with New Juaben North Municipal Assembly" is scheduled for every Thursday between 9:30am to 10am, and it is to enable mutual interactions between the Assembly and the general public.

Speaking at the maiden programme, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Comfort Asante commended past MCEs and Chiefs of the area for their immerse contribution and support towards the development of the municipality.

The MCE used the opportunity to showcase some projects and infrastructure put up during her tenure of office.

She touched on issues such as health and sanitation.

The Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr Alhaji Tijani thank the new Juaben North people for their cooperation with the Assembly and pleaded that the citizenry be expectant of more projects from the Assembly.

Municipal Information officer, Madam Elizabeth Ansaah also used the opportunity to urge the general public to adhere to the covid 19 protocols.
