The new chief was privately known as Nicolas Osei Bonsu, now bears the stool name Nana Sempe Osei Bonsu II.

Nana Sempe Osei Bonsu II has vowed to see to the abrupt development of the Oyoko traditional area, lend a listening ear to his people, be fair in all his doings and to help maintain peace and unity amongst the people of Oyoko.

The municipal chief executive Hon. Comfort Asante was present at the enstoolment ceremony. She warmly welcomed the new chief and pledged her selfless support to the chief and stated that the assembly will always avail itself to help the Oyoko community.

The ceremony brought together dignitaries such as chiefs, government officials and individuals from in and out of Oyoko.
