“Your Success determines future of Lawra" - MCE tell Candidates
The Municipal Chief Executive for Lawra Municipal Assembly Mr. Martin Domotiere Bomba-ire on the behalf of the Member of Parliament, Mr. Anthony Abayifaa Karbo, presented his success package to this year’s BECE candidates across the municipality.

The package of over 1,000 mathematical sets and other learning materials were distributed to the 999 candidates sitting for this year's Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
Mr. Bomba-ire, again announced to the candidates that, apart from the unprecedented "One hot meal ", the Member of Parliament has again decided to provide for all resident candidates in all the three examination centres breakfast and supper throughout their stay for the exams.
“You are the future leaders of the municipality and the country and your success in this exam determines the status of Lawra in the near future, hence, your success is dear to the heart of the MP and my good self. The Free SHS which was introduced mainly meant for the poor is patiently waiting for you to cross this bridge, MCE added.
The municipal director of education, Madam Sophia Dimah Nandzo, on her part advised candidates to desire from all forms of exam malpractices. She also used the opportunity to introduce to the candidates two officers from the directorate who will always be around to support them should they have problems.
This year has a total of 999 BECE candidates in all the three centres in Lawra municipality with 388, 249 and 362 candidates at Lawra SHS, Brifoh and Eremon centres respectively.
