MCE monitors ongoing WASSCE exams
Mr. Martin Bomba-ire, the Municipal Chief Executive together with the District Director of Education Madam Sophia Sophia Dimah has visited all the senior high schools and technical schools to monitor the ongoing final year SHS students Examination in the District.

The team first visited the Lawra SHS centre where the candidates were seen busy writing their Mathematics paper.
At the Lawra SHS centre, a total of 572 candidates were registered with 567 sitting for the Mathematics paper at the time of monitoring.
Brifoh SHS which is hosted in the Lawra SHS centre also had a total of 115 candidates with 4 absentees.
The team, again moved to Eremon SHTS where a total of 338 candidates have been registered for the exams with 4 were absentees.
The MCE who extended his best wishes to the candidates on Monday when he toured the WASSCE centres in the Municipality admonished the candidates to continue to adhere to the COVID-19 protocols by washing their hands frequently with soap under running water, using alcohol-based sanitizers, wearing a nose mask at all times as well as ensuring some reasonable distance.
