Lawra and Eremon SHS get new Pickup

Mr. Martin Domotiere Bomba-ire, The Municipal Chief Executive for Lawra has presented two Isuzu brand new pickups to the director of Ghana Education Service of Lawra for onwards handing over to the beneficiary headmasters, Lawra and Eremon Senior High Schools (SHSs).

The vehicles which are meant to aid the mobility status of the school especially the headmasters were donation from GetFund.

The headmaster of Lawra SHS, Alhaji Seidu Tingbani on the behalf of his colleague, thanked the government through the MCE for the enormous support given to the school to facilitate teaching and learning activities.

He also thanked the former MP for Lawra, Mr Anthony N-yoh Abayifaa Karbo for keeping to his words for the lobbying of these cars for them.

“He explained, they wrote to the then MP, about their mobility difficulties and pleaded with him if he could support them with vehicles, The MP promised to do everything possible within his means to get them some.
