MCE hands over equipment to Koforidua Polyclinic
The Municipal Chief Executive for New Juaben South, Isaac Appaw – Gyasi cohere with the Member of Parliament for New Juaben South constituency, Mark Assibey Yeboah last week to hand over 20 hospital beds, 4 delivery beds and other medical equipment to the Koforidua Poly-clinic and other health facilities within the Municipality.

The Presentation which forms part of the President’s promise of alleviating no-bed syndrome in our health sector sought to provide additional over One beds to the Eastern Regional Hospital, Poly-clinic and other health facilities.
Presenting the items, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Isaac Appaw-Gyasi stated that the items are in fulfilment of the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo – Addo’s promise of providing over Ten thousand (10,000) beds to the various hospitals across the country, hence the share of Koforidua Polyclinic and order facilities to ameliorate the countries health sector.
“It is a good start from the government and the municipality will always ask for more and believe that the government will do more if Ghanaians support the good works by this government under the leadership of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo – Addo” he maintained.
On his part, the Member of Parliament for New Juaben South Constituency, Mark Assibey Yeboah, also expressed his gratitude to the health workers and told them to continue their good works they do in the Municipality. Mr. Assibey Yeboah stated that, there are more developmental project the government in power under the leadership of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo – Addo is ready to provide to the chief’s and people New Juaben, therefore they need to give another two (2) term to enable him embark on more projects in the country. Receiving the items, the Municipal Health Director, Dr. Ekow Kaitoo expressed his appreciation and kind support given by the government, the items will go a long way to achieve its intended purpose. He further appealed to government to help the poly-clinic to secure a land for future expansion so as to development at Koforidua Polyclinic.
