Completed projects handed over to NJSMA

Contractors working on the additional works on the Koforidua- Nsukwao drains of the UDG3 of the Ghana Secondary Cities Support Projects (GSCSP) has handed over some completed projects to the New Juaben South Municipal Assembly.

The completed project includes footbridges located at YMCA and Tanoso areas, and the Gallaway to St. Dominic road

The team from the Assembly scrutinized the ongoing redevelopment of Koforidua Jackson Park to ascertain its speed and progress of work, it is one of the pivotal projects to the residents of New Juaben Municipality, as the park serves many activities such as funeral, concerts, and other durbars

The park is expected to provide a health post, gym, urinal, event center, ceremonial stands and its related stands after completion.

Ing. May Obiri Yeboah, the project consultant for SOMAN CONSULT urged the contractors to expedite action on the projects especially, the Jackson Park so as to provide its beauty to the people of the Municipality, most importantly to the traditional council who are the custodians of the park.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Isaac Appaw-Gyasi, advised the contractors with the consultancy to cooperate to move the project to its expected success. He then showed satisfaction on the contractors’ work-in-progress and encouraged them to maintain their quality of work.
