DCE, MP visit Kyeyiase and Birem communities

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Sekyere central Mr. Benjamin Kingsley Koduah together with the Member of Parliament for the area Mrs. Adelaide Ntim has paid a working visit to Kyeyiase and Birem communities.

The visit was aimed at creating a platform for the people to interact with their leaders to explain activities and initiatives being implemented by the Assembly to improve the socio-economic conditions of the people.



Among other important issues discussed were rural electrification to Kyeyiase, Birem and surrounding communities, reshaping of Dida-Aframso-Birem road and operationalization of Birem Market.

The DCE, interacting with the people, noted that prioritizing the needs of the people in the various local communities in order to meet their needs and expectations promotes inclusiveness in local governance and participation.



He re-affirmed his readiness to serve the people in the District and stressed that his doors are always open and that citizens are at liberty to visit him at any time.

The community members expressed their gratitude to the DCE and the MP and assured their readiness to support the projects mentioned to help improve their lives economically.
