Audit Service to get new office complex

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Sekyere East Mr. Osei Adiyiah has cut sod for the construction of a new district office complex for the Ghana Audit Service at Effiduase.

The office complex, which will be completed within nine (9) months, is expected to address the long-standing struggle for permanent office space for the Audit Service in the District.

The DCE in his remarks asked the building contractor to show commitment, work within schedule and also ensure value for money.


He urged staff of the Ghana Audit Service to make good use of the offices when completed and ensure that their core mandate of promoting good governance, transparency, probity and accountability in Ghana's public financial management system is pursued.
