Assembly organizes training for staff

The Ningo-Prampram District Assembly has organized a training session on Monitoring and Evaluation for the staff at the Assembly Hall to improve upon current and future management outputs.

Mr. Joseph Dasanah, a consultant from Excel Consult explained the importance of Monitoring and Evaluation to Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies and took the participants through the various steps involved in monitoring and evaluation for a positive result.

He indicated that for MMDAs to change the society, they need to monitor their programs and projects to ensure a transparent and equitable allocation of resources in order to serve and empower the marginalized and disadvantaged in the society.

Mr. Dasanah further stated that, monitoring and evaluation should be a continuous internal management activity in order to achieve accurate results.

On his part, the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Mohammed Akape entreated all the participants to cooperate to ensure productivity and efficiency of the Assembly.
