Ningo Prapram re-elects Solomon Djamgmah as PM

The Ningo Prampram District Assembly has re elected Mr. Solomon Djamgmah as the Presiding Member for the Assembly in an election organized by the electoral commission.

The election was in fulfillment of Article 244 of the 1992 constitution of the Republic of Ghana and section 17 of the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936), and part 2 of the Model Standing Orders.

In his acceptance speech Mr. Djamgmah expressed his appreciation to the Assembly Members for their unflinching support and called for all hands on deck.


“Hon. Assembly members, we are connected through the kindness we share and the hope that we bring. Let us never forget who we are as representatives of our people. Together, we are the most powerful force for change this district will see. Every one of us can do much good by ourselves, but we know that none of us can do it all on our own. Whenever there are problems, we band together and work together”, he added.


The District Chief Executive (DCE) of the area, Mr. AL-Lattif Teteh Amanor applauded the Assembly members for comporting themselves since the inception of the elections and urged them to work together for the development of the Assembly.


He also reminds them the assembly is ten years so as a family they should start planning for the tenth anniversary next year and also to inform the house that long-awaited office complex will be completed.
