The DCE said this when he paid a courtesy call on the Traditional Council to introduce himself officially and also familiarized with them.
He thanked the chiefs and people of Ningo for their support when he was nominated by the President of the Republic of Ghana H.E. Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo leading to his confirmation as the DCE of the area.
Mr. Amanor also commended the Assembly members for their support and pledged to work with all stakeholders within the District to improve the livelihoods of the people.
The Paramount Queen Mother of Ningo Traditional Council, Naana Dugbakuwuor Dugba II urged the DCE to work assiduously with all stakeholders as he has promised and should not relent to call on his predecessors when the need arises.
On behalf of the Traditional Council, the acting President of the Ningo Traditional Council Nene Tetteh Asime Banaheme II congratulated the DCE for his appointment and appealed to him to make the development of the District his priority.
He pointed out that one major challenge in the area which needs immediate attention is the deplorable roads with no proper lay out in the Ningo Township.
He further applaud the government for the marvelous work being done on the sea defense project which has saved lives and properties as compared to what is currently affecting keta as a result of the tidal waves.
