With health remaining as a critical sector in development matters, Nabdam district Assembly is seriously setting plans in place this year to at least increase the number of CHPS compound for effective health delivery within the localities.

In view of this, two separate CHPS compound projects are already underway for Kotinbig and Dasabligo communities to consolidate primary healthcare delivery in the health system.

District Chief Executive for the area, Vivian Anafo hinted in a recent interview with Ghanadistricts.com that the project also comes with an accommodation attached to it as a resolve to lessen accommodation problems for nursing staff that will work in these CHPS compound.

She said the project is moving on smoothly, adding that it was more likely for the project to finish off within the deadline.

The projects are both at roofing stages and being funded with the District Development Fund(DDF).
