NABDAM: Assembly/World vision drills more boreholes for residents

World Vision International, a non-governmental organization(NGO) has teamed up with the Nabdam district assembly to undertake the drilling and installation of nine boreholes in certain deprived communities.

World Vision International, a non-governmental organization(NGO) has teamed up with the Nabdam district assembly to undertake the drilling and installation of nine boreholes in certain deprived communities.

The implementation of the project mostly discharged in school environs has gone far in the various project sites with most of them reaching advanced stages of works.

District Chief Executive for the Nabdam district assembly, Vivian Anafo unveiled that drilling has been accomplished at the moment for areas like Sakoti primary,Logri and Ko JHSs.She said the next move was to lay the platforms and also start with the fixing of pumps.

Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, the DCE maintained that although the assembly has markedly improve on the water situation in the district, several others were also in dire need of water.

She therefore stressed that the assembly with support from its development partners will strive to cover more communities to boost access to potable water for residents.
