NABDAM: “Assembly is poised to succeed in dev’t”-DCE

The District Chief Executive for the Nabdam District Assembly, Vivian Anafo has hailed the co-operation of traditional authorities, opinion leaders and all assembly members regarding the efforts in facilitating development matters of the area.

The District Chief Executive for the Nabdam District Assembly, Vivian Anafo has hailed the co-operation of traditional authorities, opinion leaders and all assembly members regarding the efforts in facilitating development matters of the area.

She said since her appointment as the DCE for the district she has enjoyed the full support and maximum co-operation of her people as all hands were on deck to ensure meaningful development in the district and also improve the quality lives of residents. 

Interacting with Ghanadistricts.com during a refresher programme organized for all MMDCEs at the Institute of Local Government, Madam Anafo pointed out that with the support given her in all aspect of her work, she believed the assembly will surely succeed in the quest to achieving growth and development for the area.

She however admitted that indeed there were teething problems that the assembly was inundated with, the assembly was however very focused and poised to markedly improve the level of development in the Nabdam district.

She said the assembly was mindful of the various areas it lagged with regards to development and was consciously working out interventions to ameliorate these problems.

She claimed traditional authorities had been helpful in partnering the assembly in development as they were always ready to release lands for the implementation of strategic projects, when the need arise.

She said in view of this the assembly do not have challenges with land issues and will gradually discharge all projects on its radar.
