Efforts at improving quality of education is seemingly tenable for the Nabdam district, as the assembly claimed it has almost succeeded in removing schools under trees in the area, District Chief Executive for the assembly, Vivian Anafo has disclosed.

For five years of solid commitment towards the removal of schools under trees, the DCE said now the district has largely improved standard infrastructure for effective teaching and learning activities in her jurisdiction.

Attention now has then shifted towards improving considerably the quality of education, as it has positioned itself to improve the standard of education.

This is gradually being achieved through partnerships with certain NGO’s and some stakeholders in education, like Afrikids, LEN community and the TENIN project.

Madam Anafo was therefore enthused that the district off late was scaling up its performance in education, as she cited that the only second-cycle institution in the district which remains Kongo SHS this year had distinction in the WASSCE exams.
