The Amansie West Rural Bank has moved into a new office it constructed and commissioned at Manso Nkwanta in the Amansie West District.

The bank used to rent office accommodation at Manso Nkwanta, until it constructed its own premises, which inauguration coincided with its 28th Annual General Meeting at Manso-Nkwanta recently.

The Omanhene of the Manso-Nkwanta Traditional area, Nana .Bi-Kusi Appiah II, who commissioned the new branch office, thanked the management of the bank for their hard work and support for health institutions, and infrastructural development in the area.

He appealed to parents to invest of their children’s education to enable them become useful citizens, and also asked the people to save at the bank, and those given loans should also pay back for others to benefit.

The Board Chairman, Mr. Isaac Okyere Antwi, said the bank had to re-strategise in the face of challenges.

He said the bank made on profit before tax of GH¢916,652, representing 25.65%, against GH¢729,554.29 in 2011.
