NADOWLI:Assembly builds new children’s ward for hospital

The Nadowli District Assembly with support from the Japanese government has managed to put up a new children’s ward facility at the Nadowli district hospital.

The Nadowli District Assembly with support from the Japanese government has managed to put up a new children’s ward facility at the Nadowli district hospital.

This is intended to open up the facility to improve the delivery of quality healthcare in the district.

This came to light during a staff awards ceremony which was held to ostensibly applaud the officials and workers of the facility.

Other facilities which have also been acquired by the hospital to enhance operations included an Ultra-modern stand-by generator donated by the Ministry of Health (MOH).
 
At least, 28 number of workers were honoured with different category of awards on the day.

The awards included Long Service Award, Best Dressed Nurse Award, Retirees on Contract Awards, Best Unit Staff Award, Prescriber of the Year Award as well as the Overall Best Worker Award.

Meanwhile, the hospital has called for more aid to help in its delivery of efficient and effective healthcare.
