The Bia District Assembly in the Western Region has funded the construction of beffiting apartment for the District’s Police Commander in a bid to improve security in the area.

Meanwhile the move was also aimed at permanently relocating the district’s Police Commader into the apartment to ensure sustainable peace and stability even as the country approach its much aniticiaplte general elections.

Work was seriously ongoing when Ghanadistrict.com last visited the project site to access the extent of work done on the project.

In other related developments, the assembly is also putting up a 6-unit apartment for some health officials at the Bia District Hospital.
