Most disabled in the country believe that, often times, they are usually sidelined in the distribution of social amenities.

Others are of the view that even the mode of transportation in the country as well as other social facilities, such as houses, KVIPs and the like, established in the country are not disability friendly.

In view of this the Member of Parliament for the Bia Constituency in the Western Region, Hon. Michael Coffie Boampong has presented about 34 new wheel chairs to physically challenged persons in the Bia District.

This is to aid them  move around anywhere they wished to go.
Hon. Boampong did the presentation at Essam-Debiso, the capital of the Bia District in the Western Region.

The disabled on their part expressed their gratitude to the Honorable MP for the gesture.
