Government has received applauds from some authorities and students of the Bia Senior/Technical School with regards to an ongoing construction of a Girl’s dormitory block for the school.

Some other  ancillary facilities like  a box room, cubicle and teachers accommodation were also attached to the facility to complement it.

The project when duly completed will  ease congestion in the school and also pave way for others to be enrolled into the school.

In other related development, construction work is seriously ongoing on a 6-unit accommodation flat for nurses at the Bia District Hospital.

The projects currently ongoing in the district have both been identified to be at various stages of completion.
