Classes have currently resumed at DC Middle School in the Mfuom Sunkwa Electoral Area in the Twifo Heman Lower Denkyira (THLD) District shortly after its closure to allow renovation works on the building.

Information gathered indicates that the closure was as result of heavy downpour that hit community and consequently affecting teaching and learning in the school.

However speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, the assemblyman for the area, Paul Tenkorang said classes has resumed after the assembly has provided 5 packets of roofing sheets to re-roof the structure.

In other related developments, He said the community has also taken delivery of 5 streetlight bulbs from the assembly to improve security at night.

The assemblyman also disclosed that the community has also acquired a piece of land to ensure the construction of a Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound to bring quality health delivery to the door steps of the people.

Mr.Tenkorang however used the opportunity to appeal to the assembly and other development partners to assist the project to ensure its commencement and completion in due corse.
