The Twifo Heman Lower District Assembly in the Central Region has received assurance from the Government of Ghana and the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) of a new fire tender to improve fire fighting in the area.

Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, the District Chief Executive, Foster Joseph Andoh noted that the assembly  has secured a place as the new fire station with personnel already posted to the area.

He said the establishment of a new fire station in the area will help rescue  the situation whereby fire tenders had to be called from other nearby communities in situations of fire outbreaks.

The DCE further used the opportunity to recall government and the GNFS to step-up their move in providing the community with a new fire tender.
