TWIFO: Agona DA School receives 15 laptops

School children of Twifo Agona DA Basic School in the Twifo/ Heman/ Lower/ Denkyira District have received about 15 laptop computers to boost the teaching and learning of Information Communication Technology (ICT).

School children of Twifo Agona DA Basic School in the Twifo/ Heman/ Lower/ Denkyira District have received about 15 laptop computers to boost the teaching and learning of Information Communication Technology (ICT).

The move is to facilitate  government’s programme of the basic school computerization being implemented countrywide.  

This was disclosed when Michael Adorvlo Mawuli, Assemblyman for the area was speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com to reveal some projects executed under the ruling NDC’s “Better Ghana” agenda.

He commended government for the effort and expressed optimism that the initiative will help improve the study of ICT in the area.

In other developments Mr. Mawuli further revealed that the assembly has drilled one additional borehole to augment the already existing ones in order to improve potable water supply in the area.

However still on water supply, the assemblyman  disclosed that the assembly has also considered the extension of pipe-borne water to the community and its surrounding environs.
