District Chief Executive for the Akyemansa District Assembly, Tom Budu has expressed delight in the support given by indigenes of the district towards the organization of the One week celebration of the Late President John Evans Atta Mills.

“I have seen a sense of unity and togetherness exhibited by both party members and non-party members as everybody resident in the district have come out to assist push a successful one week celebration of Prez. Mills” those were the impressive words stated by the DCE.

In an interaction with Ghanadistricts.com, the DCE noted that indeed this was a mark of respect and appreciation to the great service and selfless dedication of the Late Prez. Mills to mother Ghana whilst alive.

He therefore cited the exemplary attitude shown by the people of the area regarding their contributions in the organization of the celebrations, indicating that if this is replicated in all parts of the country, it will help in our nation building.

Some dignitaries like traditional authorities, clergy, the rank and file of other political parties in the district, as well as all indigenes of the district are expected to be present today at the celebrations which will be organized in honour of the Late Prof Mills at Akyem-Anyinase in the Eastern region.
