The Twifo-Hemang-Lower-Denkyira District Assembly in its quest to boost security in the district has joined forces with the Ghana National Fire Service to establish a new Fire Station for residents at Twifo-Praso.

The office yet to be opened will ostensibly provide the platform to respond swiftly to all unfortunate fire outbreaks within the area and beyond.

District Chief Executive for the area, Foster Joseph Andoh unveiled this in an interaction with Ghanadistricts.com when highlighting the marks made by the Assembly so far with regards to infrastructural development.

He said all things being equal, the Assembly will complete this august project on schedule to offer a glimmer of hope for inhabitants in relation to fire accidents in the area.

He indicated that the project forms part of strategies aimed at offering headway in the realization of the “Better Ghana” agenda in the district.
