The Twifo Heman Lower Denkyira (THLD) District Assembly of the Central Region has stepped up its effort to make education accessible to all as it is currently on the verge of completing works on the new school project at Edugyaa.

Information gathered by Ghanadistricts.com indicates that the project which is a first of its kind in the community is currently 90 percent completed.

In a phone interview, the assemblyman for the area, Ernest Appiah Kubi expressed satisfaction o the actual work done and commended the assembly for the initiative. He also underscored the importance of the project to the community since students who are studying in dilapidated structures would be migrated into the new school complex after its completion.

He commended the assembly for also putting up a new classroom block for the Abodom Junior High School (JHS) which currently is at the foundation level.

Mr.Kubi was however, worried on the abandonment of a 3-unit classroom block which was started by the previous administration.

According to him the project would have served as a complement to help solve the infrastructure problems in the educational sector, and appealed to the assembly to as a matter of urgency re-direct attention to the project.
