The Bosome–Freho District Assembly in the Ashanti Region has vigorously started construction works on the Ampaha Dompa stretch of road that leads to Akaase, a major tourist site in the district.

The 14 kilometer road according to the DCE for the area Kwame Adarkwah is been funded through the District Development Fund (DDF) and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

According to him the road when completed will boost the tourism potential in the area as tourists who visit the area will have smooth travel to the tourism centers.

He gave the assurance that government will continue to pursue programs that will reduce the social burden on the people in the district.
