The newly appointed District Chief Executive for Asunafo South, Abrahams Atta Bosompem has identified education as the area his administration will prioritize in the shortest possible time.

The newly appointed District Chief Executive for Asunafo South, Abrahams Atta Bosompem has identified education as the area his administration will prioritize in the shortest possible time.

Speaking to Ghanadistricts.com, the DCE said he will continue with the aggressive efforts by the President to eliminate all schools under trees before his tenure ends.

He said the assembly will also concentrate on providing accommodation for teachers who serve in the villages in order to retain quality teachers in the district.

Mr. Atta Bosompem noted that road infrastructure in the district will receive a major facelift under his administration to enable farmers transport their food produce to market centers for marketing.  

He urged the towns and communities in the district to initiate water projects so that the assembly can give them the necessary support so as to reduce the enormous financial constrains on the assembly.

In order to ensure that the President gets a second term in office, the DCE hinted that he is to going pursue aggressive youth development in order to enable them contribute meaningfully to the local economy and governance.
