MCE, MP Commission A 2 Unit Classroom Block at Dwabeng

The Member of Parliament for Prestea Huni-Valley Constituency and Minister for Tourism Arts and Culture Mrs. Barbara Oteng-Gyasi with the Municipal Chief Executive, Isaac Dasmani commissioned a 2-unit KG block at Dwabeng in the Municipality. The building which is a Kg block has two classrooms, a dining hall, washroom, kitchen, toilet, teachers’ quarters’ staff common room, a mechanized borehole, and a storeroom.

The Ceremony was graced by the Nananom, Municipal Chief Executive, and Municipal Coordinating Directors, Heads of the various Departments as well as parents and teachers.

The Odikro of Dwabeng Nana Asante II expressed his gratitude to the Member of Parliament and the government of Ghana for the kind gesture. He also used the opportunity to make known the need of the community. He pleaded with the MP to help build a teacher’s quarters for the community and also asked the MCE to help the community complete their community center.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Dr. Isaac Dasmani assured the Chiefs and people of Dwabeng of his full support and also promised to support the community in any way he can. He finally pleaded with the people to practice a good maintenance culture to preserve the faculty.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mrs. Barbara Oteng-Gyasi expressed her joy at the completion of the project. She outlined some benefits of education to the individuals and called upon parents and guardians to enroll their children of school-going age in schools and also strive to get the best of education for their children.

Lastly, she expressed her disappointment at the outcome of the just ended Presidential and Parliamentary elections. She thanked all the dignitaries and people gathered for the occasion.
