The visit was to Interact with Heads of Departments/Units and staff of the LGS in the District, to enlighten the officials on quiet a number of issues such as; the current of implementation of the Assembly's Capacity Building Plan, Share Best Practices among Sister Cities, Assemblies Units and Departments, Sharpen the Skills of Development Planning Officers to Improve on Planning and Budgeting.

Addressing the gathering Dr. Arthur laid emphasis on how to use information technology (IT) to improve the Assembly's Revenue Generation in order to prevent misappropriation of funds.

Additionally, Dr Arthur   spoke about the need to sharpen the Skills of Development Planning Officers to Improve on Planning and budgeting for effectiveness and efficiency, equip the Environmental Health Department to Effectively Perform it Duties, and Promote Professionalism among all Staff of the Service.

Present were Chief Director of the LGS, Mr. Joseph Dasana, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Shama, Hon. Joseph Amoah, some Heads of Department from the Office of the Head of Local Government Service (OHLGS), the District Co-ordinating Director, Heads of Departments/Units and Staff in the Shama District Assembly.
