He however revealed that, government through the Assembly was liaising with officials from the electricity company of Ghana to ensure that the factory is immediately connected to enable it begin its operations.

According to him, it is expected that the factory will produce gari, ethanol and cassava dough when it commences operations.

Touching on the issue of employment, Mr Dadzie continued that the factory had come at the right time to help provide reliable jobs opportunities for the people, especially the youth.

He said the factory shall provide direct factory hand jobs for the youth and indirect jobs through the out grower scheme.

According to him, the Assembly has already identified a vast land which is going to be distributed among the out growers for the purposes of cultivating cassava to be used as raw materials to feed the factory.

He therefore urged the youth to participate fully to help them gain employment and become self-reliant.
