DCE presents 39 motorbikes to assembly members

Mr. Benjamin Kingsley Koduah, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Sekyere Central has presented 39 motorbikes to all 39 Assembly members in the area to enable them effectively discharge their duties and maintain close contact with their electorates.

Presenting the motorbikes to the beneficiaries, the DCE stressed on the need for assembly members to prioritize safety whenever using the motorcycles.

He also urged them to make judicious use of the Motorcycle in order to accelerate quality service delivery to their electorates.

Mr. Koduah indicated that many assembly members in the district are usually face mobility challenges due to the distances they have to travel when needed for assembly duties.

He therefore thanked the government for the initiative which he said would go a long way to improve the work of Assembly members in the district.

Mr. Adu Bona Justice, who received the motorbikes on behalf of the Assembly members, thanked President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development and DCE for delivering on their promise.

He assured them that the motor bikes will be used for the exact purpose for which they were procured.
