Ahafo Region produces the least female population in Ghana

Ghana has more females than males; thus with a total population of 30,832,019 according to the 2021 Population and Housing Census, 51.0% (15,631,579) are females with 49% (15,200,440) males. This trend is no different in most cases when looking at the regional populations.

However, the Ahafo Region happens to have the least female population in the country with 279,328.

This is followed by the Savannah Region with 325,579, North East Region 336,797, and Oti Region with 369,856 respectively.
