Community urged to register for free electricity meters
Mr. Martin Bomba-ire, The Municipal Chief Executive for Lawra, has tasked the elders, youth leaders and the Assemblyman of Kumasaal community to ensure that every interested household, spot, grinding Mill among others are registered for the meters for connection of electricity.

This he said during a meeting at Kumasaal to sensitize the community on the completion of their electrification project and to collect data of households wishing to be connected.
Mr. Bomba-ire clarified that, this is our time and everyone should come on board to make Lawra a place we wished, adding that, the NPP government led by H. E. President Nana Akufo Addo and the MP, Hon. Anthony Abayifaa Karbo has shown great commitment to the development of their community and the Municipality as a whole.
Speaking with ghanadistricts.com, The MCE hypes some of the achievements in the community; He entreated them to continue to support the MP for more developmental projects for their community.
He urged all the communities to take advantage of these free services at this time because as soon as the contractor finally completes his work and leaves the site, whatever services you need from VRA will be at a cost.
Mr Martin Bomba-ire used the opportunity to assure other neighbouring communities that still have the projects at various stages of completion that the MP is doing everything possible to get them connected.
Adding that, materials especially the service poles which were the major hindrance in the exercise have since a boost in recent times and distribution have started and be assured that, all the 48 communities which have since not been connected will get connected under the leadership of Mr. Anthony Abayifaa Karbo.
