Lawra Traditional Council receives computers
The Municipal Chief Executive for Lawra, Mr. Martin Bomba-ire has presented office equipment to the Lawra Traditional Council following a request made to him and the then Member of Parliament for Lawra, Anthony Abayifaa Karbo.

The items which include four sets of desktop computers, one printer, and four Battery backups (UPS) are to aid the council's office work.
Presenting the items, the Bomba-ire thanked the chiefs for their enormous role in keeping Lawra peaceful for the past four years and beyond.
He also thanked GIFEC for coming to their aid with the items to support the council. He prayed the chiefs not to relent on their efforts in making Lawra the most peaceful town.
This is one of the key institutions in Ghana if well-resourced and knowledge tapped, will help in the rapid development of the country, he added.
The Paramount Chief for Lawra, Naa Puowele Karbo III in his remarks thanked the MCE for always being there for them anytime they needed support.
He also thanked all stakeholders that made this possible with special thanks to GIFEC, adding that they can now also boast of having their documents and other relevant info secured from the public.
