Commissioning of CHPS compound and nurses quarters at Zaguo-Deriyiri

The Municipal Chief Executive, Christine Bombanye Amadu in her remarks indicated that, His Excellency the President Nana Akufo Addo is committed to deliver the basic health needs of the citizenry.

It is therefore fulfilling to commission the Zaguo-Deriyiri CHPS compound for the people of the community and its environs to fully utilize.

The facility includes two semi-detached quarters for the Nurses and staff accommodation to motivate and encourage posted staff to stay at post. There is a mechanized borehole project to provide water to the CHPS compound and the quarters.

She also hinted that the feeder roads in the community have been awarded and the contractor will be mobilizing to the site. The road if completed will link Zaguo-Deriyiri to Jirapa and other adjourning communities.

The Assembly Member for the community expressed his gratitude for selection of his electoral area for the project and seeing the completion of the same.

He, however, requested that the mechanized borehole should have a hand pump stand that could serve the community members water.

The Health Director assured that the needed staff have been assigned to the center and are willing to start work. She also said that the center will be utilized to the maximum for the benefit of the community.

The Chief of the community after taking over the keys to the project handed over to his by the Honorable Municipal Chief Executive, promised that it will be well taken care of by the community. He expressed his profound gratitude to the Municipal Chief Executive and her Team.
