MCE donates desks to Koforidua Technical School

The New Juaben North Municipal Chief Executive, Madam. Comfort Asante has donated about 110 Dual desks, 30 Bags of cement and Hands Sanitizers to the Koforidua Technical Institute (KOTECH) to enhance teaching and learning in the school.

The Municipal Chief Executive said the donation was part of the effort to support Education in the Municipality.

She expressed hope that the donation would help reduce the furniture deficit in the schools in the municipality and make the pupils feel more comfortable to enable them to focus on their studies.

Madam Comfort Asante, urged management of the schools to take good care of the desks provided." They should educate the children to keep them clean and safe at all times so they will serve their intended purpose for long,” she advised.

The Municipal Education Director, Madam. Beverly Bathels, expressed gratitude to the MCE and her team for this kind gesture.

“The furniture will reduce the pressure in the classrooms where we have about three pupils sharing one dual desk,” she added.

The Headmaster, Rev.Robert Nunoo, expressed his profound gratitude to the Member of Parliament, Hon.Nana Kwesi Adjei Boateng and the Municipal Chief executive for this kind gesture.
