Three basics school receives bicycles

GAPBUSTER Ghana Foundation from the USA have donated one hundred and twenty (120) bicycles to three basic schools in the New Juaben North Municipality with one hundred and twenty students benefiting from the donation.

The beneficiary schools were Effiduase Methodist complex, Roman Catholic school and Effiduase Presby School.

The President of Gapbuster Ghana, Dr. Yvette Butler-Yeboah said, the receivers of the bicycle were students who had perfect attendance in the GapBuster After-school STEM programme and this demonstrates the commitment of GapBuster Ghana towards the growth of STEM
Education.

He therefore entreats all students who have received these rewards to see this as a motivation to give off their best and boost their interest in STEM Education, and to ensure a brighter future for themselves.

The Municipal chief Executive for New Juaben North Municipal Assembly, Hon Comfort Asante commended GapBuster Ghana for such an initiative to boost the student’s appetite for learning.

She said, as an Assembly that believes in Education, will continue to partner with GapBuster Ghana and all relevant Stakeholders in the Education sector for the growth of STEM Education in our Municipality and beyond.

The Municipal Education director, Mrs. Beverly Dansoa Bartels thank GapBuster Ghana for the donation to the students and trust this will go a long way to help students to come to school early and to boost their results performance in the Municipality as Mpeam school, this year we have had students getting good grades and now at (A class) schools in Ghana due to the bicycles they received last year which has made their transportation to school easier.

The Head Mistresses of the three schools thanked the NGO for the gifts.

They advise the students to be very careful when riding on the main street to school and always make sure to put on their safety helmet.

The students expressed their gratitude to GapBuster Ghana for their support and promised to take their studies seriously.
